‘Peace of Mind’ — Majesty Palm — Single review

Fresh music is exciting enough, but when it comes from an all-new band, that’s something else entirely. Glasgow-based Majesty Palm are bursting onto the music scene with the divine, house-tinged pop track, ‘Peace of Mind’.

Olivia’s velvety-soft vocals are reminiscent of a more refined Dua Lipa or even a Laura Mvula at times, all while this addictive tune is backed by the combo of Cameron’s synth hooks and guitars. And what do they deliver in turn? A summer anthem in February? What an absolute delight.

This soulful gear shift from the Bubbatrees guitarist will be welcomed with open arms by fans of Sigrid, Tom Misch, London Grammar and even The Japanese House.

Without giving too much away, there’s plenty more where this came from. So you’d better buckle up and follow Majesty Palm on Spotify, Instagram now, to make sure you stay in the loop this year. Rest assured, ‘Peace of Mind’ is about to become a playlist regular of yours, too.
