‘Side Eye’ — Majesty Palm — Single review

Majesty Palm’s third single, ‘Side Eye’, comes with a candy coating, and just days before their debut gig — at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, no less. The Glasgow-based duo are pioneering their own pop sound that’s bankrolled by no-expense-spared synths yet underpinned by six-stringed skill.

The catchiness of Cameron Robertson’s instrumentals is so well-aligned with Olivia McCosh’s super-smooth vocals that you can’t help but play their tracks over and over again. But this latest piece seems to have an extra spring in its step; you can really tell their signature sound is starting to stick.

Ready for a boogie? I thought as much. Press play on ‘Side Eye’ on Spotify now.
