‘So Wrong So Right’ — PAGES. — Single review

As anthemic, fit-for-stadiums pop-rock goes, PAGES. really have the recipe down to a tee. The Aberdeen-hailing, Glasgow-and-Edinburgh-based three-piece is back to release the bombastic new ‘So Wrong So Right’ betwixt a string of exciting gigs they’ve got in the diary for summer.

While heavy, distorted riffs and quintessential rock sounds underpin this belter, which they worked on with their long-standing producer based in the USA, it’s charismatically synth-sparked. You may also detect a vocal quality that smacks ever so slightly of The Weeknd in parts.

PAGES. are a band that politely ask you to put your dancing shoes on and join them for a good time. And it all starts with a spin of ‘So Wrong So Right’ on Spotify.
