Songs I want to hear sampled/remixed

While we’re publishing more and more interviews with up-and-coming bands and artists here at Record Weekly, my own personal chit-chat has been on the backburner. It’s probably better that way. But having said that, while I’ve had a bit of (albeit unwanted) time on my hands lately, I thought I might as well get a few listicles out there at least…

So, here you have one; a seemingly pointless, totally unrelated-to-anything opinion piece about songs I want to hear sampled or remixed. Just elements of these would tie nicely into something different or experimental. Whether they have been already or not, these tunes are ones I reckon could benefit from being creatively chopped and remodelled into some insanely cool new offering. No rationale required.
