Everyone needs a dancey tune in their catalogue, right? And as ‘Two 2nd Rule’ and its catchy hook fade in behind a muffled Clockwork Orange soundbite, that’s just what you get from Wolforna. For the first time ever, they’ve got a pacy, electronically charged bop to offer, and it’s a total earworm.
Despite unleashing their hell-raising live album earlier in the year, this is actually their only studio drop in 2025 to date. But don’t panic, as there’s more being teased. Though you’ll be too hooked on this fresh favourite to even consider anything else for ages. You’ve been warned.
Harmonised, fuzzy vocals do a stand-up job in stealing the show almost as much as the bouncy beat that pins the whole ensemble together. And the complementing riffs and rumbling bass notes are so on-point. If this isn’t the most radio-ready banger you’ve heard lately, I don’t know what is! The tempo’s got the right level of speed to aptly “make you sweat”, while Wolforna retain their loud, swaggering credentials they’ve worked so hard to garner. Oh, and did you hear that? The unmistakable fancy fretwork of Mischief’s Jojo on the single. Fire.
This track just begs to be played on repeat, and it sounds epic at gigs, too. So if you’re looking for something new and exciting, this is still a Wolforna experience, just dolled up slightly differently. And it’s about to blow your ears off.
