News just in: The Darkness are set to return in a big way. You know, those rockers with the razzle-dazzle? The ones with the giant squid attacking a spaceship in a music video? And famously play with a wall of Marshall amps? (Shout-out to my dad who got me a signed poster from The Lord of Loud, Jim Marshall, himself.) Yep, THEM. Can you tell I’m excited about it?

Thrilled to share the details in accordance with Chuff Media, I’m delighted to say that ‘Dreams On Toast’, their eighth studio album, will be out in March 2025. And they’re touring the UK, with Ash as support, in celebration. Tickets for their 17-leg run, which includes shows in Edinburgh, Manchester, Swansea and London (ahem, Wembley), open on pre-sale (including VIP upgrades) on 25th September, and go on general sale on 27th September 2024.
