Deer Shed Festival 2023 Preview

Deer Shed Festival 2023, eh? That’s come around fast! The multi-arts weekender is an event that every music fan, literary type, discerning foodie, up-cycler, comedy-seeker and family looks forward to, and it’s from 28th to 31st July this year, so it punctuates festival season well.

Baldersby Park in Topcliffe, North Yorkshire, is getting prepped and erecting tents as I type. And believe me when I say, you’ve truly got a stark number of things to get giddy about; from science to sports, workshops to fun for the under 5s, it’s all on the agenda for those with a ticket.

But as the Record Weekly team has been kindly invited back again by our friends at Hanglands*, it’s only fitting that there’s a playlist of top musical recommendations for you to wrap your ears around in the build-up. Give these belters a go…

  • Your Light — The Big Moon
  • Seeking Arrangement — DITZ
  • Catholic — Elanor Moss
  • Let’s Make Out — Dream Wife
